Our History
Kheth’Impilo-DRC (KI-DRC) is an NGO under Congolese law and is a daughter organization of Kheth’Impilo (KI), based in Cape Town, South Africa. Registered since 2017 in the DRC, KI-DRC has had the privilege of obtaining funding from USAID to manage the HIV Epidemic Control (HEC) project which provides HIV/AIDS prevention and care services in 14 Health Zones and 77 Health Facilities in the Province of Lualaba in the DRC. KI-DRC benefits from the technical contribution of KI developed over more than a decade of contribution to the fight against HIV/AIDS in RSA.
In South Africa, KI is a South African non-profit organization that has been providing innovative approaches to clinical care and treatment services, health and community systems strengthening with social facilitation for over 13 years through program implementation and technical assistance at all levels of health and social service delivery to the government for more than 13 years South Africa and throughout sub-Saharan Africa. KI is a leader in public health and social care innovation that aims to mitigate the social and health impacts of the triple pandemic disease affecting disadvantaged South Africans.
